Francesca Bianchi The Black Knight 30 ml is a leather essence for men and women. The Black Knight is a gothic, intense, sophisticated perfume inspired by Giovanni Dalle Bande Nere, an Italian Renaissance leader from the Medici family (father of Cosimo the Great). I have always been fascinated by this character for his stoic dedication to his cause, his loyalty and his Spartan lifestyle – despite his noble origins. The perfume tries to recreate the atmosphere of a military camp, with the smell of dry brushwood at the beginning, then the smoke of the bonfire and a hint of horse harnesses. The evolution takes us deeper into the soul of this stern character, revealing the presence of a secret lover, with a powdery rose that rounds out the intense heart made of vetiver. Unlike my habits, I have not added any typically animale, since the intensity of the vetiver, together with the leather, already made it extremely decisive. Dark, medieval, meditative, in this perfume I wanted to convey on the one hand the uncompromising character and on the other the more human one of this wonderful character.
