Dent, Volume One: The Gospels according to St Matthew and St Mark. Volume One omits mention of the Aldine Bible on the title page. Volume Two: The Gospels according to St Luke and the Acts of the Apostles. Volume Three: The Pauline and Pastoral Epistles. Volume Four: The Gospel according to St John, the Catholic Epistles (John, Hebrews, James, Peter, Jude), The Revelation of St John The Divine. Each volume is illustrated with map endpapers and two full page engravings by Eric Gill. Edited and with an introduction by M. R. James. This set was also issued in red cloth which is much more common than the red leather.
